Silva Chair is the result of a close collaboration with master carpenter Luciano Tousco, whose practice is deeply rooted in the woodworking traditions of the Western Alps. Conceived as an exploration of wood as a living material, the project draws inspiration from the Alpine landscape and from the transformation of raw branches into a crafted object.

Hundreds of small branches, collected from the surrounding forests, are manually grafted into the rear structure of the chair, creating a tactile surface that evokes the image of a forest. Presented as part of Doppia Firma, Silva reflects a dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
