Tovaglia is a series of plates and accessories in polychrome marble for the table. The iconic motif of the checkered fabric is taken as inspiration to reproduce the pattern of the tablecloths of popular Italian taverns. A precious combination of marbles is used: red Francia, rosa perlino and biancone. The checkered pattern of the tablecloth loses its rigor on the curved surfaces of the objects to expand and shrink in unexpected graphics, generating visual interferences that abstract the object from its context, challenging the immaterial qualities of the material itself on a formal level.
