The experimental Sgraffito lamps are a one-off lighting pieces embody a captivating fusion of artistry and craftsmanship, brought to life through a chaotic yet harmonious composition of bronze rods, resembling three-dimensional brushstroke etchings. Mancuso’s sketches of intersecting lines are cast in bronze in a foundry, to create a framework of negative space.

The pieces are then transported to Venice, where glass is blown inside the bronze frames to create stunning bulbous, unexpected shapes, expressing the role of happenstance at the heart of the creative process.
